Abstract
[Objective] The study aimed to evaluate the utilization possibility of activated carbon prepared from bagasse in the decolorization of molasses alcohol wastewater.[Method] The decolorization condition was studied through single factor and orthogonal experiment.[Result] The results showed that the optimum technique parameters were the adsorbent amount of 0.3 g/50ml,the adsorption time of 90 min,pH value of 9.8 and the temperature of 25 ℃.The decolorization rate was as high as 80.2% under the treatment condition.[Conclusion] It was feasible to use activated carbon prepared from bagasse to decolorize the molasses alcohol wastewater.
