The Yielded Hu Hanye Chanyu not a"Foreign Minister"but a Chamberlain of the Western Han Dynasty

The article Chamberlainsand Foreign Ministersof Qin and Western Han Dynasties summarized the fundamental characters of foreign minister in the Han Dynasty saying that Hu Hanye Chanyu wascertainly not the feudal princes or vassal state in Han Dynasty.The statement mentioned above was different from the the fact in the history,which was not applicable for the Hu Hanye regime.At that time,the emperor of the Western Han was the ruler,while Hu Hanye was a chamberlain.The relationship between the Western Han Dynasty and Xiongnu Hu Hanye regime was quite like that of the central government and the local government.This paper analyzes and proves that Hu Hanye Chanyu was not the foreign ministerafter yielding to Han,but a chamberlain of the Western Han Dynasty from the aspects of politics,military,economy and so-called diplomacy.
