On an Integrated Social Welfare System

The construction of an integrated social welfare system is an inevitable trend as we make efforts to decrease costs of delivering welfare.It is a concrete step in implementing the scientific view on development,demanded by the need to build a harmonious society in China,and therefore is a necessity in building socialism with Chinese characteristics.An important task in the construction of an integrated social welfare system is to clear the influence and dirty legacy of neo-liberalism,to promote such traditional discourses as collectivism, community spirit,social justice and social responsibility,which reflect the superiority of socialism,to liberate spirit from material,welfare from the market,national identity from the loosening and fragmented social structure and national character,thereby constructing a harmonious society of democracy,justice, stability,affection,one in which humans and nature peacefully coexist.
