Cost effectiveness analysis of two different regimens of levofloxacin on urinary system infection

Objective To explore the cost effect of two different regimens of levofloxacin on urinary system infection. Methods 100 cases with patients with urinary system infection were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group. The observation group was treated with sequential therapy, the control group was given conventional therapy. therapeutic effects of two groups was evaluated, the cost effect of the two groups was observed. Results The effective rate in the observation group compared with that in the control group, there was no significant difference(P0.05); the cost of the observation group was 138.6 yuan;the cost of the control group was 256.2 yuan. The cost effect in the observation group was 154; The cost effect in the control group was 278.4. Conclusion Sequential therapy of levofloxacin on urinary system infection has remarkable effect, and the cost is low, the therapy is superior to conventional therapy.
