Abstract
Teachers' self-consciousness of profession refers to teachers' clear professional identification about education which they carry on.It means crystallizing teachers' profession characteristic and development directions,forming a firm belief and a lofty idea about teachers' profession,protecting reputation of teachers' profession actively.Teachers' subjectivity and self-consciousness of profession supplement each other,but in fact,teachers' subjectivity has been ignored or neglected to a certain degree.There will be no teachers' professional development without teachers' self-consciousness of profession.? The former is a prerequisite for the latter whereas teachers ' professional development can improve teacher's self-consciousness and self-confidence in profession.
