Abstract
The effects of low temperature climate at the beginning of both 2008 and 2011 on several tropical fruit trees in Guizhou province were investigated. The results indicated that the injury of low temperature to barbadosnut, macadimia nut, dragon fruit, guava and mango was at 3~5,0~1,3~5,2~3 and 3 level respectively. Therefore, the typical tropical fruit trees could be planted only in the low altitude and frostless districts in Guizhou province, otherwise they would be damaged by low temperature.
