Mencius' Inference,Judgment and Sanctification to Confucius' Benevolence Theory

Abstract

Confucius is the personage whom Mencius respects most.Mencius infer on the Benevolence,gives judgment and high evaluation to Con's achievements,and develops Con's theory.By doing so he reveals Con's personality,consolidates Con's supreme position,comprehensively depicts the theoretical development from Con's to Men's,and displays an inner connection between Con and Men's theories.
