Abstract
Objective To study the clinical curative and protective effects of erythropoietin(EPO) for the hypoxia injury infants with myocardia damage, and analyze the influence on the prognosis and mechanism to provide a basis for clinical treatment. Methods 42 hypoxia injury infants with myocardia damage from May 2010 to May 2013 in the Affiliated Hospital of Ningbo University were selected, and they were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 21 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment, the observation group was given EPO based on the routine treatment. Creatine kinase(CK), creatine kinase isoenzyme(CKMB), cardiac troponin Ⅰ, hemoglobin(Hb), reticulocyte(Ret)% were detected before and after treatment and electrocardiogram(ECG) was examined. And the breath disappear time, mental state improving time and the recovery time of ECG were observed. Results CK, CK-MB and troponin Ⅰ of two groups after treatment were lower than before treatment, the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). CK, CK-MB and troponin Ⅰ of the observation group after treatment were(198.26±69.04) U/L,(26.9±9.56) U/L and(0.16 ±0.38) μg/L, lower than those of the control group after treatment [(242.30 ±103.41) U/L,(37.40 ±12.30) U/L and(0.54±0.17) μg/L], the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). Hb and Ret% of the observation group after treatment were(171.52 ±20.83) g/L and(3.55 ±0.65), higher than the control group after treatment[(155.43±21.42) g/L and(2.51±0.63)], the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). In observation group, the abnormal rate of ECG was 19.05%, lower than that of the control group(47.62%), the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05). The breath disappear time, mental state improving time and the recovery time of ECG of the observation group were(1.28±0.14),(2.56±0.21) d and(5.32±0.40) d, lower than those of the control group [(2.86±0.32),(4.05±0.41),(7.38±0.74) d], the differences were statistically significant(P 0.05). Conclusion There is better therapeutic effect of EPO on hypoxic myocardial injury in newborns, which can promote the cardiac function recovery, improve their symptoms or reduce the symptoms improved time and improve the prognosis.
