Effects of the treatment that given Yudanrongxin pills on hand-foot-mouth disease with cardiac damage

Objective To study and analyze the effect of the treament that given Yudanrongxin pills on hand-foot-mouth disease with cardiac damage. Methods Eighty patients with hand-foot-mouth disease,which were complicated by cardiac damage, were divided into observation group and control group,with 40 patients in each group. All patients received conventional treatment. On the basis,the observation group was given Yudanrongxin pills. The treatment course was 7 days. The levels of creatine kinase(CK),creatine kinase-MB(CK-MB),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) and hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase(HBDH) were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment,the levels of CK,CK-MB and LDH were significantly lower in observation group than that in control group (163.17±48.94)U/L vs.(222.75±80.96)U/L,P 0.05.(16.83±6.06)U/L vs.(21.92±5.30)U/L,P 0.05. (217.67±53.48)U/L vs. (269.50±59.23)U/L,P 0.05],respectively. No side effects were found in all patients. Conclusion The treatment that given Yudanrongxin pills on the conventional treatment is effective and safe for hand-foot-mouth disease with cardiac damage and is worthy of clinical application.
