Abstract

The development of micellar enhanced ultrafiltration(MEUF) technique has been demonstrated to be effective in the removal of low level of dyes and organic compounds from wastewater by using the ultrafiltration process with relatively low investment and low running cost.In this paper, the mechanism of MEUF is reviewed.Furthermore, the main factors affecting its application in dye-wastewater treatment are also analyzed and discussed, and the existing problems are pointed out.
