Abstract
The micellar enhanced ultrafiltration (MEUF),as a promising technology for treatment of wastewater containing trace and small quantities of organic pollutants,is simple in structure and easy in operation,and it can effectively remove trace and small quantities of dissolved organic pollutants with low MW from wastewater. The working mechanism of MEUF and the important factors affecting the removal effect are introduced in detail. The current research status at home and abroad is summarized,and the recovery of surfactant is discussed. In addition,the problems existing in this technology and the future research direction are analyzed.
