Abstract
Objective To prepare antibody against human S100A7(hS100A7).Methods The recombinant hS100A7 was prepared by prokaryotic expression and was used to immunize the rabbit.The titer and the specificity of the rabbit anti-hS100A7 antibody were analyzed by indirect ELISA and Western blot respectively.Results The recombinant hS100A7 and the antibody against hS100A7 was successfully prepared,the titer of the generated antibody was 1:16000 by ELISA.The results of Western blot and immunohistochemistry showed that this antibody not only could bind with recombinant hS100A7 but also native hS100A7 specifically.Conclusion The rabbit anti-hS100A7 antibody with high titer and high specificity has been prepared by using purified recombinant hS100A7 as immunogen.
