Preparation and Identification of Bovine β-casein Polyclonal Antibody

Abstract

Polyclonal antibody against β-casein was successfully prepared by using the purified β-casein as immunogen.The rabbit antibody was purified by protein G resin affinity chromatography.The ELISA titer of the antibody against β-casein was 1∶1 600.Western-blot analysis showed that the antibody could specifically bind with the β-casein.The rabbit antibody against β-casein might provide an effective tool for mammary gland bioreactor research.
