Special Collection:an Essential Factor for the Existence and Development of the Reference Rooms of Art Colleges/Departments

This paper discusses the necessity of the existence of art colleges/departments in university,and connecting with the practice,expounds that the special art collection,which is the most essential factor of distinguishing the reference rooms of art colleges/departments from university library and making them exist permanently and independently,is the soul of the reference rooms of art colleges/departments,and is the core content of the construction and development of the reference rooms.This paper analyzes how to do well the classification and construction of special collections of the reference rooms of art colleges/departments,and based on the working practice,puts forward some operable working concepts and methods.
