Observation of the effect of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of facial hormone-dependent dermatitis

Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of facial hormone-dependent dermatitis.Methods: 278 patients were randomly divided into 2 groups: 142 cases in the treatment group and 136 cases in the control groups.Control group was treated individually using Thunder loratadine anti-allergic and symptomatic treatment.Treatment group was treated using traditional Chinese herbs combined with western medicine,such as oral and external treatments as well as with Thunder loratadine.Results:Total efficiency of traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment was 85.21%,and the efficiency of control group was 63.97% with significant differences between the two groups(P0.01).Conclusion: The combined traditional and western medicine treatment on facial hormone-dependent dermatitis needs a shorter course and produces no toxic side effects.
