Postobturation Therapeutic Effects of Cortisomol Sealer and AH Plus Sealer in Single-visit Root Canal Therapy

Objective To compare the therapeutic effects of Cortisomol sealer and AH Plus sealer in single-visit root canal therapy.Methods 112 teeth were randomly divided into 2 groups.All teeth were treated with root canal therapy in single-visit.Cortisomol sealer and AH Plus sealer were used respectively in treatment.The pain intensity within 1 week after treatment was evaluated by chi square test.The therapeutic effects were evaluated by follow up of 24 months.Results The pain intensity of former group was lower than that of the latter group in 7 days without significant difference(P0.05).The efficiency rate between two groups were not significant difference(P0.05)in 24 months.Conclusion Root canal therapy using Cortisomol sealer and AH Plus sealer can significantly decrease postoperative pain and had significantly therapeutic effects in 2 years.
