Application of one-time root canal therapy using different root canal filling materials

Objective To compare the clinical effect of three different root canal filling materials in oral medicine in the treatment of one-time root canal therapy.Methods Collecting 213 patients,330 teeth in writer's outpatient from January 2010 to January 2011,randomly divided into three groups,treated with different root canal filling materials:Vitapex sealer(group A),Cortisomol sealer(group B) and zinc oxide clove oil iodoform paste(group C),to compare after one week treatment in patients with pain and the cure rate after one year later.Results The root canal therapy after one week,A group of pain was 13.6%,and 16.4% for group B,C group is 28.2%,group C was significantly higher than A and B group(P 0.05);Group C pain score significantly higher than A,B group(P 0.05);one year later,the cure rate of A group was 91.2% and 90.0% of group B,C group was 79.1%,the group C was significantly lower than the A and B group(P 0.05);A and B group compared,the difference was not statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion In the same operating conditions,Vitapex sealer and Cortisomol sealer than iodoform paste zinc oxide clove oil sealer have better effects,they are ideal root canal filling materials.
