Hernioplasty for recurrent inguinal hernia

Abstract

Objective:To explore the therapeutic efficacy of recurrent inguinal hernia.Methods:All 38 patients with recurrent inguinal hernia treated with hernioplasty were analyzed retrospectively. Results:Recurrence was found in 2 cases(5.6%). 2 cases(5%) were complicated with scrotal hydrocele 1 cases(2.5%) suffered from incisional infection. All cases sensed slight pain or less pain. Conclusion:The hernioplasty for recurrent inguinal hernia has the advantages of low recurrence,low scrotal hydrocele,low incisional rate,less postoperative pain, simple performance,and goodtherapeutic effect. It is a suitable hernioplasty for recurrent inguinal.
