Abstract
[Objective]To observe clinical effect of dispersing the depressed liver qi,invigorating the spleen and warming the renal to treat diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome(IBS).[Methods]Sixty cases of diarrhea-predoninaut IBS patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(each n=30).The treatment group was given traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) of dispersing the depressed liver qi,invigorating the spleen and warming the renal.Control group was given Pinaverium Bromide Tablets, four week a course.[Results]The total effective rate was 89.7% in the treatment group and 67.9% in the control group. The improvement of symptoms was better than that of control group. The recurrence rate was 22.2% in the treatment group and 57.1% in the control group.[Conclusion]The efficacy of dispersing the depressed liver qi,invigorating the spleen and warming the renal to treat diarrhea-predominant IBS was obvious and non-adverse,which was worth of clinical promotion.
