Abstract
Kang Youwei worshiped Confucius which had been given a new content and had been bouregeoisified.In the early years of the Republic of China,Kang did not oppose democracy and republic.He disagreed to the situation of disunion due to the misuse of freedom,democracy and equality.Kang planned to realize the reconstruction of social values and the unity of the nation by way of worshiping Confucius.
