Abstract

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of esomeprazole, amoxicillin, clarithromycin, and tinidazole on the 10th of sequential therapy to eradicate Helicobacter pylori. Methods 150 cases of 14C urea breath test positive were randomly divided into two groups:treatment group, five days before to esomeprazole, amoxicillin, five days after to esomeprazole, tinidazole, clarithromycin treatment;control group to esomeprazole, clarithromycin, and amoxicillin treatment for 10 days. The end of the treatment after an interval of four weeks of 14C urea breath test, review Hp to evaluate the therapeutic effect. Results Hp eradication rate of treatment group was 89.74%,while control group was 75.0%,there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The 10 days of sequential therapy consisting of esomeprazole, amoxicillin, clarithromycin, and tinidazole to eradicate Hp infection was more effective than triple therapy.
