Abstract
Research on rod-type miniature piezoelectric ultrasonic motor was briefly reviewed in this paper.A new rod-type miniature piezoelectric ultrasonic motor based on free-shaft-fixed bending vibration model with improved construction design was introduced in datail.The motor's vibration modles and driving mechanism were explained using the finite-element method.The vibration model of motor stator,effects of slots on stator,position of piezoelectric plate and mode merge were investigated and simulation results were listed.
