Abstract
This paper presents a new type linear ultrasonic motor with multilayer piezoelectric actuators.The motor based on the vibration in plane of the rectangular plate.The dimensions of the stator are designed by the ANSYS package.Then,we have developed a new structure making the motor's installation easily.The experimental results show that this kind of motor can attain maximum velocity 110 mm/s,the maximum thrust force is 3.7 N.The expected design objective has been successfully obtained.
