Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Rosuvastatin combined with Valsartan in early diabetic nephropathy. Methods A total of 97 patients of early diabetic nephropathy were randomly divided into 3 groups(the Valsartan therapy group, the Rosuvastatin and Valsartan combined group and the control group). All the three groups received routine treatment, the Valsartan therapy group received additional oral valsartan(80 mg/d),and the combined group received additional oral Rosuvastatin(10 mg/d) combined with valsartan(80 mg/d),all for 12 weeks.Blood glucose,HbA1c,serum lipids(TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C),SCr,and 24 h urinary albumin excretion(UAER) were measured and compared among the three groups before and after 12 weeks of treatment. Results After treatment, blood glucose(fasting glucose and postprandial glucose),HbA1c,serum lipids(TC,TG and LDL-C),and UAER were significantly reduced in the combined therapy group than in the other two groups(P0.05).Compared with the Valsartan group, blood lipids and UAER in the combined group were significantly lower(P0.05).SCr levels were not significantly different before and after treatment in all groups(P0.05).Conclusion Rosuvastatin combined with valsartan decreases the levels of blood lipids and blood pressure,as well as UAER.This therapy effectively prevents renal damages and delays the progress of early diabetic nephropathy.
