Abstract
The Ca-bentonite was modified into Li-bentonite with lithium salt as modification reagent.The main technical conditions such as the dosage of the modification reagent,reaction time,temperature,the ratio of solid / liquid and pH value were studied systematically.The results indicated that the properties of modified bentonite were improved,of which the 24h swelling value,expanded times and the galotinous times were 4.3,5.2 and 5.3 times of raw bentonite,respectively.
