Abstract
A Ca-bentonite clay from He'nan province was used to prepare Na-bentonite by semi-dry extrusion modification process using sodium carbonate as modified agent.The results showed that the production had high colloid index and expansion rate and meet to GB/T5005-2001 when the dosage of sodium carbonate was 3%,extrusion times was 3,the dosage of water was 17.5% and the particle size of raw material was minus 20 mesh.
