On Innovation of Higher Vocational Practical Teaching Based on Professional Ability Training

The most important approach for improving the professional capacity of students in vocational college is to ameliorate the practical teaching level and carry out the innovation of practical teaching. Having identified the requirements and goals of professional capacity cultivation for these students, this paper points out the basic character of practical teaching in vocational college, which is oriented toward the cultivation of student's professional capacity. It also puts forward six innovation measures for improvement of practical teaching methods: innovation of teaching form; innovation of teaching procedure; innovation of teaching mode; innovation of teaching contents; innovation of teaching techniques and ways of assessment and innovation of teaching system.
