Effect of the combined massage and acupuncture for anorexia

Objective:To observe the clinic effect of combined massage and acupuncture for anorexia.Methods:100 patients with anorexia were randomly divided into therapy group,which was taken combined massage and acupuncture,and control group,which was taken Jianweixiaoshi tablets.Clinical effect and hemoglobin were compared between these two groups.Results:We found that the rate of clinical effect in therapy group was significantly higher than the control group(96.0% vs.56.0%,P0.05).Furthermore,the concentration of hemoglobin in therapy group was higher than the control group(P0.001).Conclusion: These findings suggest that the combined massage and acupuncture was effective in the therapy of anorexia.
