Abstract

Civic education is a fundamental support of democracy in American.Civic education in American schools has experienced a course of scratch,slow to fast,and gradually perfecting development.The most obvious characteristics of evolution of civic education in American is the school's civic education is closely linked to the characteristics of the times,and each time the starting point for reform is always the actual need of political,and economic development.
