Progress of Science and Technology: Contribution to the Economy of Dandong City

Abstract

Scientific and technological progress is the main motive force of economic growth.The economic development and scientific and technological progress are calculated by the method of Cobb-Douglas production,and the contribution rate of the scientific and technological progress and other factors to economy of Dandong is given.Some factors that hinder the economic growth in Dandong are also analyzed.It is proposed that to add the fund in science and technology,and put the limited fund into the most advanced parts of scientific and technological progress are effective ways to promote the economy of Dandong.
