Abstract

In this study five kind forage were evaluated for forage yield on dryland areas,The result showed that the difference of yield between forages were very significant(P0.01),Elymus sibiricusAgropyron cristatum, forage yield was different every tear, andBromus inermis CV was biggest,Gerenally,Forage yield was influnced by the rainfall in July to August, but the grow~years was an important effect of forage production. On the yield and interannual variability of production,Elymus sibiricrs andElymus glaucus were best andElymus breviaristatus,Agropyron cristatum were better,Bromus inermis have the highest yield and the highest interannual variability of production. So four kind forage exceptBromus inermis were worth extending in alpine region.
