Abstract
From 1998 to 2002 and Jan.2006,the avifauna at Guadun was surveyed by using sampling line and fixed spot methods.70 species were recorded, but according to the literatures there were 99 species of 4 subfamilies,20 families and 7 orders, of which 76 species were resident birds,6 species were winter visiting birds,11 species of summer visiting birds and 6 species of traveling birds.Forest birds were the main species in Guadun.Based on the previous data, the related avifauna, resident status, community structure and the vegetation were studied. The results indicated that the Oriental Realm had clear character;7 bird species became to the resident;the birds affecting the community structure and the typical forest birds reduced, possibly being linked to the large amount of Phyllostachys pubescens and serious human disturbance. Finally, the conservation suggestion was put forward in this paper.
