Abstract

In this paper, graft copolymer of medical gauze and acrylic acid/N-methylol acrylamide monomers are prepared with ceric ion initiator. The effect of polymerization temperature and time, initiator content, monomer content and ratio on the graft copolymerization is discussed. The results of graft copolymer of medical gauze absorbing water property test indicates that the absorbing water property of medical gauze can be improved by grafting some hydro-philic monomer.
