Abstract

The graft copolymerization of AM onto chitosan was investigated by using ceric amonium nitrate as redox initiator under nitrogen condition. The graft copolymer was characterized by IR;XRD.And the improvement effect of the paper strength and filler retention was researched by using the graft copolymer.
