Abstract

The essay analyzes the situation of the teachers,teaching aims,curriculum and teaching methods of present college English teaching in China and points out the shortcomings.Meanwhile it puts forward some measures of the reform in the aspects of constructing the teaching staff,optimizing teaching patterns and means and improving teaching contents and environment.
