A statistical analysis of published papers of 14 medical institutions in Henan province

Objective:This analysis report wants to reflect the state of academic/scientific research in the medical institutions of Henan province and the social influence from these research works. Methods:From the China national knowledge infrastructure(CNKI),a source of statistic data,we have analyzed the paper bubkication situation of 14 medical institution during 2001～2006 years including 11 publication and citation items such as the total number of published articles,the num- ber of published by Chinese core journal,the number of papers supported by some foundations,etc. Results:The influence is distinct between different institutions.Conclusion:Should enhance people's consciousness of scientific research in these institutions to improve the quality and quanti- ty of publications.
