Bibliometric Analysis on SCI(Science Citation Index)Papers Published by Henan Province in the Period of 2003-2012

By using bibliometric method, this paper retrieves and analyzes the SCI papers published by Henan Province from 2003 to 2012 from aspects of the paper number,source journals, organization distribution,document type,document language,subject distribution, national/regional cooperation,fund sponsorship,and paper citation,etc., which objectively reflect the paper productivity, academic influence and sci-tech innovation power of Henan's scientific researchers, and offers the suggestions that the scientific research management department should fully display its policy guidance function,encourage the publishcation of higher level SCI papers, promote the formation of advantageous subjects, vigorously develop the cross subjects and interdisciplinary subjects, and strengthen international and inter-organizational cooperation.
