Abstract

A few early pear varieties commercially grown in the water-temperature condition of southern China were pollinated with various pollinators.The results showed that the desirable pollinating varieties were Yuanhuang,Cuiguan,Zaomeisu and Zaomi for Aiganshui,Huasu,Lvbaoshi,Zaomi and Cuiguan for Yuanhuang,Lvbaoshi,Yuanhuang,Cuiguan and Huasu for Zaomi,Yuanhuang and Cuiguan for Huangjin,and Cuiguan,Yuanhuang and Zaomi for Aidang,and Lvbaoshi and Yuanhuang for Jinshuijing.
