Abstract
A few early pear varieties commercially grown in southern China were pollinated with various pollinators.Striking differences were observed among the pollination combinations in this study.The desirable pollinating varieties were Xinseiki and Zaixiangmi for Pear variety No.4,Xinhang No.1,Xinseiki,Zaoxiangmi and Xiayu for Xueqing,Zaoxiangmi and Cuiguan for Zaomeisu,and Zaomeisu,Zaoxiangmi and Xueqing for Zhongli No.1.
