Clinical Observation of Calcipotriol Ointment combined with Halometasone Cream on 40 Cases with Vitiligo

Objective To explore the clinical effect of calcipotriol ointment combined with halometasone cream on vitiligo. Methods 80 cases with vitiligo were selected from January, 2009 to January, 2013, and randomly divided into observation group and control group.The control group were treated with Halometasone Cream; the observation group were treated with Halometasone Cream and calcipotriol ointment,the course was 12 weeks. the efficacy of the two groups was evaluated. Results In the observation group, 11 cases were cured, the proportion was 27.5%; 14 cases was effective,the proportion was 35%; 13 cases were improved, the proportion was 32.5%; 2 cases were ineffective, the proportion was 5%, the total effective rate in the observation group was 95%. In the control group, 4 cases was cured, accounted for 10%;14 cases was effective, the proportion was 35%; 12 cases were improved, the proportion was 30%; 10 cases were ineffective, the proportion was 25%, total effective rate in the observation group was 75%. The total effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion The clinical effect of calcipotriol ointment combined with Halometasone Cream on vitiligo was significant, the therapy should be the reference for doctors.
