Abstract
The effects of chitosan-mixture on physiological characteristics of tomato seedling are investigated. The results show that chitosan-mixture could promote the growth and development of tomato seedlings, expand leaf area, increase the content of chlorophyll, and reduce the content of MDA.After chilling stress(5 ℃,2 h),the relative electric conductivity of the treated leaves is lower than that of the untreated samples, which indicates that chitosan-mixture could increase the cold resistance of tomato seedlings.
