Abstract
Objective To find out the relationship of karyotype t(9;22) translocation and immunophenotype associated with adult B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B- ALL). Methods MIC typing was performed in 154 adult B- ALL. Results The incidence of myeloid- associated antigen (CD13, CD33) expression was higher in Ph positive cases than Ph negative B- ALL. There were no difference in the expression of CD34 or T lymphoid antigen between Ph positive cases and Ph negative B- ALL cases. Conclusions My+ adult B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia is significantly associated with the t(9;22) translocation.
