Abstract

Objective To summarize the nursing experience of percutaneous laser and ozone intervertebral disc decompression combined with compound betamethasone vertebral small joint injection in the treatment of lumbar inter-vertebral disc herniation accompanied with small joint disease. Methods The preoperative nursing care measures carried out in 120 patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation accompanied with small joint disease who underwent laser and ozone intervertebral disc decompression combined with compound betamethasone vertebral small joint injection were retrospectively analyzed. Results The operation was accomplished successfully in 115 cases. No serious complications occurred. Conclusion Scientific and proper nursing care is a strong guarantee for a successful surgery and a better recovery in treating lumbar intervertebral disc herniation with laser and ozone intervertebral disc decompression combined with compound betamethasone vertebral small joint injection.
