Treatment of prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc with percutaneous laser disc decompression combined with ozone intervention

Abstract

【Objective】To evaluate the clinical effect of percutaneous laser disc decompression (PLDD) combined with ozone injection on prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc. 【Methods】106 cases of lumbar intervertebral disc had been treated through semiconductor laser disc decompression and combined with ozone injection in this group. The patients were followed up for 3-18 months and the clinical effects were evaluated according to Macnab standard. 【Results】According to Macnab standard, the clinical evaluation results were excellent in 69 cases (65.1%), good in 32 cases (30.2%), fair in 3 cases (2.8%) and poor in 2 cases (1.9%). The choiceness rate was 95.3%.【Conclusion】The therapy effective power of prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc could enhance obviously, under applying percutaneous laser disc decompression combine with ozone injection, which of them have mutual complement of advantages, and they would be the perfer setup for prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc therapy.
