Abstract

Professional Development School is the new move of American Teacher Education Reform in the 1980s.Professional Development School emphasizes on the major role of the elementary and the middle schools in the teacher education and the responsibility in the teacher education undertaken by the university and the elementary and middle schools through cooperation.American Professional Development School has achieved good results and effectiveness in the practice,therefore has a certain enlightenment to China's teacher education reform and development.
