The Analysis of 51 Cases with Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome(OHSS)

Abstract

Objective:To search for induced factors and therapy stralegy for ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome(OHSS).Methods:51 cases with moderate to sever OHSS were retrospectively analyzed in our hospital during Mar 1997 and Dec 2001.Results:Most of OHSS occurred on the third day to thirteenth day after administration of medicine to enhanced ovulation.Pclyeystic ovarian syndrome,thin,and enhanced ovulation by HCG administration were high-risk factors for OHSS.All patients with OHSS got compietely rccovery through intensive care,maintaining blood circulation,diuretics,abdominocentesis,and drainage.Conclusions: We had pay attention to prevention OHSS when enhancing ovulation.Intensive care is necessary in the treatment of moderate and severe OHSS.
