Abstract

A 6~18GHz ultra low noise amplifier is presented. The amplifier used FUJITSU′s GaAs HEMT FHX13X,employs feedback techniques. The ADS software was used as a tool for design, optimization and simulation. The amplifier exhibits state of the art performance with a 1.5dB noise figure,30dB power gain,1 dB compression point(P1dB) 10dBm,flatness ±2.0dB,the input SWR 2,the output SWR2.0 in band. The size of the amplifier is: 10.9mm×9.8mm×2.7mm.
