Practice and Effect of Psychological Nursing in Elderly Cadre Ward

Abstract

Objective To strengthen nurses' theoretical knowledge,skills and practice competence of psychological nursing and to improve nursing quality in the elderly cadre ward.Methods Through positive guidance,a specific group was established for psychological nursing.Through clinical pathway,psychological prescription by nurses,practical psychological nursing service was conducted in the elderly cadre ward.Results Nurses' coping skills and professional identity were improved and patients were more satisfied.Conclusion The strengthening of nurses' skill and a practical pathway are essential to implement psychological nursing for elderly patients.
