Abstract

Equivalence Translation is the core in translation theories and there is a controversy over its definition,value and function in translation field.Therefore,it is theoretically and practically meaningful for the improvement of the translation theory and practice to understand the connotations of translation equivalence correctly so as to establish a scientific translation criterion.
