Abstract
Objective To investigate the risk factors and the pathological features of coronary artery diseases with typeⅡdiabetes. Methods A total of 120 patients with coronary artery disease which were finally diagnosed by coronary artery angiography were recruited. These patients were randomly divided into diabetes group(n=60)and non-diabetes group(n=60).Clinical and angiography characteristics, risk factors and blood fat levels were compared between the two groups. Results In diabetes group, the incidence rate of hypertension was significantly higher than that in non-diabetes group(P0.05).There were no remarkable difference of the incidence rate of smoking, silent myocardial ischemia and myocardial infarction between the two groups(P0.05).The levels of total cholesterol, triglyceride and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C)in the diabetes group were significantly higher than that in the non-diabetes group(P0.05).However,no significant differences in levels of high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)were found between the two groups(P0.05).In addition, when in contrast to non-diabetes group,multi-vessel lesion and diffused lesion of coronary artery were more common in diabetes group(P0.05).Conclusion The incidence rate of hypertension and the levels of TC,TG,LDL-C were significantly higher, synchronously with severer coronary lesions in coronary artery disease with typeⅡdiabete patients.
